Giveaway Terms and Conditions
Promoter
The promoter of this giveaway is Cardaq Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with registered number 07805564, and registered office at Broadfield Law Uk Llp, One Bartholomew Close, London, United Kingdom, EC1A 7BL ("Promoter", "we", "us", "our").
Eligibility
The giveaway is open to individuals who:
- are aged 18 years or over at the date of entry;
- are resident in the United Kingdom where the giveaway and prepaid card are legally permitted; and
- have mental capacity when entering into this contract.
The giveaway is not open to employees, officers, directors, agents, contractors, or immediate family members of the Promoter or any of its group companies.
The Promoter reserves the right to require proof of age, identity, and residency and to disqualify any entrant who fails to provide such evidence upon request.
Giveaway Period
The giveaway will open at 08:00 GMT on 11 December 2025 and close at 19:00 GMT on 19 January 2026 ("Giveaway Period").
Any entries submitted outside the Giveaway Period will not be accepted.
How to Enter
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
To enter, participants must;
Follow us on Instagram (@cardaq.official); and
Tag at least one operating Instagram handle in the comment section of the pinned post dated 11 December 2025 on the @cardaq.official Instagram page.
Only one entry per person into the giveaway is permitted unless expressly stated otherwise.
Each additional and different tag in the comments on the above pinned post will equal an additional entry into the giveaway.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, automated, or submitted in breach of these Terms and Conditions will be deemed invalid.
Prize
The prize consists of one debit card with a value of one thousand pounds only ("Prize"). The Prize will be paid for by us.
The Prize:
- is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be exchanged for cash;
- is subject to our separate cardholder terms and conditions;
- is not subject to VAT;
- includes no costs associated with the Prize and not specifically included in the Prize, for example, travel or other expenses.
- may be subject to usage restrictions, expiration dates, merchant limitations, or geographic limitations imposed by the card issuer or applicable law.
The Promoter makes no guarantees regarding acceptance of the Prize by specific merchants.
No refunds for any reason whatsoever will be given for entries to a Giveaway Prize.
Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected at random at anytime between 19:01 and 23:59 on 19 January 2026 from all valid entries received during the Giveaway Period.
The winner will be notified via Instagram Direct Message then by email using the contact details provided.
If the winner does not respond within 72 hours of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Regulatory, AML, and Compliance Checks
As a regulated payment services provider, the Promoter is subject to applicable laws and regulations relating to anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), sanctions, fraud prevention and know-your-customer (KYC) obligations.
The winner will be required to successfully complete identity verification and compliance checks before the prepaid card is issued, necessary to verify; identity, age, eligibility, residency, and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements ("Verification Checks") as reasonably required by the Promoter.
Failure to pass such checks, or providing false or misleading information, may result in forfeiture of the Prize, with no liability to the Promoter.
Issuance of the Prize is conditional upon the successful completion of all required Verification Checks. If an winner fails, refuses, or is unable to complete such Verification Checks to the Promoter's satisfaction, or is found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions or applicable law, the Promoter reserves the right to withhold, cancel, revoke, or reclaim the prize (as applicable), without liability and without the obligation to provide an alternative prize or compensation.
The Promoter may also disqualify any entrant or winner where required to do so in order to comply with legal, regulatory, or risk management obligations, including but not limited to obligations imposed by regulatory authorities, card issuers, or sponsoring banks.
Data Protection
Personal data collected in connection with this giveaway will be processed in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR.
Personal data will be used solely for the purposes of administering the giveaway, verifying eligibility, contacting the winner, and complying with legal and regulatory obligations.
The Promoter will not sell entrants' personal data to third parties.
Upon completion of the giveaway, the Promoter shall retain the winner's personal data for a maximum period of seven (7) years in accordance with the UK GDPR and other applicable data protection legislation. The winner may request the deletion of their personal data in writing, subject to the Promoter's continuing legal, regulatory, or compliance obligations.
Publicity
By entering the giveaway, the winner agrees that the Promoter may use the winner's first name, country of residence, and/or likeness for promotional purposes, unless prohibited by law.
No additional compensation will be provided for such use.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the Promoter's liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Subject to the above, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, liabilities, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant arising out of or in connection with the giveaway or the Prize.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt by the Promoter.
The Promoter further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Giveaway. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of the Promoter for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the giveaway with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of the Promoter in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
Right to Amend or Cancel
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the giveaway at any time where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including regulatory or technical reasons.
Any changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner.
Disputes
Any disputes or complaints relating to the Giveaway Prize should be referred to the Promoter at [email protected]. Please include the details of the Giveaway Prize, the Promoter and the nature of the complaint and the Promoter will respond within 14 days.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in the winner's country of residence.
